We had such a great time at JR's work party at the park. Haley tried so many new things. She met a clown and got a balloon animal, went in the bounce house and down the huge blow-up slide (several times), and did the fishing pond. She is such a dare devil. She loves everything and is rarely afraid to do anything. She just giggled the entire time.

Just My Random Opinion That...

Daddy's Helper

Haley is always Daddy's little helper, no matter what he is doing.

Today she helped him as he put together a rocker for her bedroom. She thinks she is super helpful. She gets very proud of herself.

Ahhhh, Men and Their Listening Skills...or Lack Thereof

So funny story to illustrate how well men listen. Last night JR and I were in our bedroom getting ready for our date night out (with each other...just to clarify). And I was using a new root spray I bought on my hair. This is how the conversation went...
Brynn - "This spray stinks. It smells all flowery like an old lady perfume."
JR - "Honey, you are not getting old."
Well trained in his responses, I'll give him that...but the listening skills need some work.
Good thing he is so adorable. He is the sweetest husband a girl could have and he truly is my best friend. But once in awhile I just have to laugh because he is such a typical man.
