My Little Helper and a New Idea

Haley absolutely has to help me with whatever I am doing. When I dust, she has to have her own Swiffer and help. When I vacuum, she has to have her own small extension vacuum. Here she is cleaning the bathrooms with me - my little helper.

A new fun thing we have done is an idea I got from a fellow blogging friend (thanks, Heather!) for Haley's indoor "sand"box. I filled a large container with rice and sand toys and it has been quite a hit. I bought a really cheap bed sheet that I spread out under her whenever she plays with it. Otherwise, plan to vacuum.

That is awesome. I am totally gonna make one for my girls for winter time when we can't go to park. Brilliant!! Love it!! (Until Jordy tries to eat the rice right?)

What a great idea! Hopefully it doesn't get too messy... but I guess better to have rice all over than sand!
You look amazing in that picture even while cleaning toilets! NOT FAIR!

I can't believe how big she is! The rice was a way better idea than sand....I HATE SAND!

She sounds just like Reese. She has to be doing everything that I am doing.

Love the sand box idea.

If rice is too messy you could also do macaroni or a big bean...anything works. I'm glad she likes it! You look like you're ready for a glamour shot while cleaning toilets...AND pregnant?!? That's when you know you're pretty! You can make ANYTHING look good!

Brilliant! My kids are probably too old for it, but I'd totally play with that!

P.S. You could even consider that your food storage rice. :)
