To my grandmother, who exemplified these words.
"Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well."
--- Mother Teresa
We will sorely miss your face, greeting, and smile; but you will always be in our hearts. We love you, Grandma Lucille, and we will often tell Haley why it is an honor for her to carry your name.

What a great tribute to your sweet Grandma! It's always a happy kind of sad when someone we love that is old, dies. The physical problems that set them back and made them feel so horrible white they were here won't be an issue anymore and at least we can take some comfort in that. I love you and I know this is rough for you. I will see you on Saturday at the funeral, and don't fret, you'll do a great job on the song.

I am so sorry to hear about your grandma. I love the picture you have on a previous blog with her and your grandpa holding Haley. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love ya!
I am sorry to hear about your grandma. My great-grandma would like to be in her shoes right now...she's 105 years old and STILL LIVES IN HER OWN APARTMENT!!! She wants to be with her family in Heaven at this point. So there are definitely comforting feelings that go along with death; knowing all the reunions that take place on the other side. Thanks for visiting and leaving a note for us. I am glad you dropped in. I'll keep your blog address so I can pop in every once in awhile and say Hi. You do the same.

I am sorry about your grandma, but what you wrote is so sweet!
Your baby is adorable with her ears pierced, I might have to do that when I get a girl, how fun!
Brynn, I'm so proud of you! You did such an amazing job today. You really did! You were so strong to get through such an emotional song. I'm so glad that I could be there to help you.... Haley was soooo good all day. She is just the best little girl. I'm sure your Grandma was there thinking how amazing you are. It was great to get to be with your sisters as well, and meet a lot of your extended family from out of state. It was also good to catch up with some of the ones I knew when I was little. They were all very gracious to me and I just wanted you to know how much I love you!
