FUN-TOBER at Our House - What a Crazy Month

Creating our fun pumpkins with kits from Grandma Tani. Oh, yeah, we love St. George in October... notice the shorts. Woot! Woot!

McKay is getting so big and so alert. He is 3 1/2 months old now. He smiles and is the most quiet, mellow baby ever. We adore him!

What a STUD!!

Haley turned 5 this month and it has been quite the celebration. She opened presents early on her birthday morning and was thrilled.
She and I made butterfly snack bags for her preschool birthday treat and suckers with note about her birthday. It was a very special day at preschool and she was so excited.

Haley wanted a Baby Doll Birthday Party, so we had all baby stuff for her party. The kids all got bottles filled with candy, binky suckers, and played "Pin the Binky on the Baby" and Baby Shower BINGO. It was quite a hit!

I made her a baby cake that turned out okay, but she was happy with it and that's all that matters, right? We call this "Fat Baby in Cake Form". :)

We have such darling kids in our neighborhood and she has such sweet friends. We just love where we live and the people we live by. We feel so blessed to have such great people to raise our kids with.

We went to our friends house for a Halloween party and had a blast. We were all cowboys and cowgirls, except McKay who was our cow. It was a total blast! They went all out on decor and food and games. We had a great time!!

Of course, JR is sporting his fake stache... he loves any chance to pull that out. :)
Carson thinks the phrase "Giddy-up" is actually "Woody-up" (from Toy Story) so he LOVES being in his costume and saying, "Woody-up, horse!" It is so cute! Haley makes the cutest cowgirl we have ever seen and she loves to show everyone her "Fat Cow", Baby McKay.

Random Family Fun

McKay is rarely ever grumpy. He is such a sweet and good baby. Of course, right as I am trying to get a sweet picture of him, though, he decides to fuss. Funny little dude.
Making a cardboard zoo... just some fun Sunday entertainment at home. Haley thinks General Conference is a regular event now, I think, because she told her friend that "we don't go to church anymore, we watch it on TV". Ha, ha, ha. She cracks us up!
Our growing angel! He is so adorable.

Cowboys and Chubsters

Off to the rodeo! They had such a great time. Carson wants to ride a "donkey when he gets big"and wants us to "watch him fall off". Adorable.
Update on our chunkers: he is healthy, happy, smiley, and likes to "talk" to us. He thinks his coo-ing is a full blown conversation. We get a kick out of him. He is smooshy and chubby and so so so beautiful!

Cabins and Legos and Bear, Oh My!

My face painting skills are sad. Where are Cousin Brittany and Aunt Tiffany when we need them? :) It's supposed to be a beach ball and a butterfly. Luckily the kids sure thought it was great, though.
Still loves his baby straight jacket (i.e. swaddler) and his giraffe attached binkie. So cute!
Good times at the Bell's Cabin in Tabiona. We sure had a blast roasting marshmallows, 4-wheeling, hiking, doing crafts, and spending time on the lake.
Grandma Tani and Papa Owen even came up and played at the cabin with us.
Baby Mckay's first trip to the cabin.

Haley is now back to school. Phew! Sigh of relief... we made it through Summer. Haley loves school and loves to be busy, so we are thrilled to have another year of preschool ahead.
For preschool, we got to bring home Teddy and he spent the night having adventures at our house. We took him to the park and we made pizzas for Family Home Evening. I think Teddy had a great time at our house. Haley loved showing him around.
