"If I could have one thing happen for every woman...it would be that they would feel the love of the Lord in their lives daily." ---Bonnie D. Parkin

A couple weekends ago we had the luxury of spending a weekend with one of our favorite families - the Gustafson Clan. Aren't they adorable? We had a blast playing games, swimming, and roasting marshmallows and doing tin foil dinners up in Pine Valley. It was so fun...we laughed and laughed. They are such an amazing and fun family and we felt so lucky to have them to ourselves for the weekend.

Ryan and Elise even stopped by to spend some time with us. Because Ryan was on short leave from his military duties and only had a couple weeks home with his cute wife, we felt very loved that some of that time was spent with us. Aren't they the cutest couple ever?

Haley and Elise. Just a side note...Haley has to use whatever cup or bowl matches her shirt. It is a must. It gets quite complicated.

Our favorite soldier, Ryan, and our favorite little man, Carson.

Haley loves to do Mommy's hair, Daddy's hair and poor Carson's hair. About a week ago she pulled me aside and whispered in my ear, "Mom, why Daddy have no hair?" I said, "Daddy has hair it's just short because he is a boy." She got a really skeptical look on her face and said, "Daddy's hairs are tiny." In this picture Carson is being subjected to "Beauty Salon Via Haley". If you can't tell there is water dripping off his head into his eye because she drenched him with the spray bottle and them proceeded to brush his hair. Poor Carson.

You know it is a fantastic birthday party when you come home looking like a diva. Thanks, Stella, for an amazing party and for all the bling.

These two really love playing together. Carson beams when he sees Haley or when she pays attention to him. Which is kind of shocking since usually she is subjecting him to some kind of torture for her playtime delights.

Carson's first pair of shoes. He wore them to church and looked like such a stud. He is getting so big. I can't believe how much he is growing up. I love this little guy so much! All you have to do to get a smile from him is look at him. He is so happy and social. He is such a joy to have in our home. Plus, look how handsome!!

Both kids ready for church. I am loving this stage right now so much with these two angels. Haley is in a great stage...leaving most of the terrible two behind...not yet horrible three (I know, I've had many people warn me)...saying hilarious things all the time...sweet as can be...and so much fun! Carson is not yet crawling (Yay, still immobile!)...smiley and giggly all day...satisfied to simply play with toys on a blanket or pick up and eat Cheerios...so easy and so adorable! I really adore these babies so much. They make me so happy.
