Palm Springs

We just got back from a relaxing vacation in Palm Springs. We stayed at the nicest resort and got really spoiled - JR golfing an incredible course and me being pampered at the spa and the kids playing at the funnest pools. We had such a great time playing that we didn't take nearly enough pictures.

My new unicorn shirt - shout out to J.D.!!!

The Nursery

The nursery is finally painted and finished. It really didn't take us 6 months to paint two walls, we just got around to starting on it.

Hilarious Haley

Funny Haley phrases lately:

“I want Daddy come to my house.” When he is at work.

“Nope, can’t. I’m busy.” Her latest response to any unwanted request...This one is not so funny to me.

“It’s too hard for you, Mom, let me do it.” To just about everything.

“Carson, cover your mouth.” When he coughed.

“Not out of the box, Mom. Get a bowl for you.” Berating me for eating ice cream out of the box. Yikes!

“Don’t go pee pee in your pants, -k- Mom?” Thanks for the reminder, Haley.

“Good girl, Mom”. After I went potty.

"Good girl, Daddy!!" Yelling at his softball game when I told her to cheer him on.

And my personal favorite, "Eat your boob, Carson." Can't you just hear Napolean Dynamite screaming in your head? "Eat your food, Tina."

Haley loves to do my hair. It is her newest obsession. She has to pull out all the producst, combs, curling irons, etc. and use them all on me. It is really uncomfortable, but so sweet.

We are currently painting Carson's nursery. When we bought these face masks Haley said, "Are these for your boobies, Mom?" She is highly aware of breastfeeding and all of my nursing covers, breast sheilds, etc. Oh dear.

Simple Happiness

Painting egg carton catterpillars with our fun Mom's Group. So adorable! Haley was so proud of how hers turned out.

The cutest cheesy grins on my happy kiddos. I love these angels so much!

Fun in Texas

My sisters and I spent the weekend together in Texas at Natalie's house. We had a ball together and the kids shared lots of laughs. I loved seeing Natalie's darling girls and her gorgeous new little guy, Ethan. I love my sisters so much and I am so happy that we are such amazing friends. I miss them all already.

More of Brittney's Wedding

JR's sister, Brittney's wedding was so gorgeous I just have to share more of the pictures. Haley had a blast dancing the night away. It was hilarious how much fun she had dancing in her pretty dress. We loved every moment of it all.

Wednesday Words

There was a never a child so lovely but his mother was glad to get him to sleep.
---Ralph Waldo EmersonCarson had his 4 month appointment yesterday. He is a very healthy "little" guy. He has doubled his birth weight and now weighs 16 pounds, has started drooling lots, giggles and smiles and babbles all day, and refuses to sleep through the night.
Despite the lack of sleep, I am enjoying every minute with this happy guy.
Carson is super social and loves to watch and listen to everyone around him. If we leave the room for even a moment, he is furious. But as long as we are talking and moving in the room with him he is happy as can be. He loves to watch and giggle at Haley and he thinks he can talk to her. Everyone who sees him says he is a mini JR - no wonder I think he is so dang handsome.

Proud Papa Bell with his daughter. Isn't she the most incredible bride you've ever seen? Love her!

Hiking with the fam, in Seattle. We saw some amazing waterfalls. It is so gorgeous and green there. Wow!

Pike's Place Market - such a cool city!

Salt Lake Trip

JR's sister, Brittney, got married a couple weeks ago to a darling guy, Colby. We were so excited to attend the sealing and celebrate with them. We are so happy to have Colby in the family.
