Oscar Party 2010

Our fun friends, the Smiths, threw an awesome Oscar party. We had a blast with several couples watching the awards and eating great food.

JR got the most award predictions correct so he got his own Oscar and gave a moving speech.

Even celebrities graced our party with their presence.

Garth Brooks Concert

JR and I took Carson to Vegas for the day and then went to the Garth Brooks concert that night while our friends tended. It was AWESOME! We had a great day shopping and sight seeing and the concert was incredible. I loved spending the day with my two favorite guys!

Carson's Blessing

We blessed Carson today and it was so beautiful. JR did a wonderful job giving the blessing and Carson was very reverent. :) It means so much to us that everyone would travel so far to support us and Carson. We are so blessed to have such incredible family and friends. We had a fantastic weekend playing with our friends, Bryson & Miranda and Jace & Lacie and Mekiah. It was so much fun! Haley loved having all of the friends and family here to play with her. It was an amazing day!

Haley's New Bedroom

Haley has actually been in her "new big girl" bed and bedroom for a few months now. We painted the stripes on the wall, got a new bedroom set and new bedding, and just now finally hung pictures and put the quote on her wall. So I can finally show off how cute it turned out. She loves her new big girl bed and her pretty room and her independence.

Enjoying Our Little Man

We are really enjoying Carson so much right now. He has brought such fun to our family. He is such a sweet, easy-going baby. And Haley is such a wonderful big sister. I just love these two angels so much! I feel so grateful that JR works so hard to allow me to stay home and raise them.

Christmas Whirlwind Trip to Salt Lake

Our gorgeous little guy.

Carson with his Great Grampa who turned 96 after Christmas. We feel so lucky to still be spending time with our sweet Grandpa.

Our family Christmas morning, so far, Carson was not a huge fan of the holiday. Haley, however, thought it was the greatest day ever.

Santa Clause (or "Santa Clock" as Haley calls him) surprised us one Monday night during Family Home Evening by visiting our home. Haley asked Santa for fries and a drink - I think she thought it was like ordering at McDonalds. I don't know.
