Sunshine and Salons

We spent this weekend in St. George at our condo in 80 degree weather. It was fabulous! Jace and JR worked while Lacie, the kids, and I got to lay by the pool and visit the salon. I chopped my hair and got highlights, which is a fun change for summer. We also looked at houses, which was really exciting. There are such gorgeous homes down there and the weather is awesome! We are getting really excited to be done with school and get settled. If you want to get away from the cold, you are welcome to come on down and visit us.

Haley, Are You In There?

When we check on Haley after putting her to bed, this is the sight we ALWAYS see. Haley pulls the blanket up over her face as soon as she closes her eyes. We have to go in as soon as she falls asleep and pull the blanket off her face. It is so funny to watch her. I had to get a picture. She really is asleep in this picture. She is so nutty. It really makes me laugh because JR sleeps with a pillow over his head. Like father, like daughter, I guess.

Happy Easter

He is the rock of our salvation, our strength, our comfort, the very focus of our faith.
None so great has ever walked the earth. None other has made a comparable sacrifice or granted a comparable blessing.
He is the Savior and the Redeemer of the world.
I believe in Him... I love Him.
I speak the name of Jesus Christ in reverence and wonder.
He is our King, our Lord, our Master, the living Christ, who stands on the right hand of His Father.
He lives! He lives, resplendent and wonderful, the living Son of the living God.

---President Gordon B. Hinckley, “We Testify of Jesus Christ,” Ensign, Mar 2008, 4–7
