Bag Tag

Okay, I got tagged by my cute friend Kim and I am supposed to show my purse and what is in it right now without changing a thing. My purse doubles as my diaper bag and I love it.

As for the contents, I am pretty boring.

Of course I have a diaper and wipes and hand lotion. All you moms out there can totally relate, right? Cough drops and kleenex (because I have been sick), my wallet, my grocery list (which I carry around so that I can write things when I think of them), lip gloss, and keys. I almost always have reading material in my purse. This week I have an article I am reading about how to be an effective group therapist with sexual offenders.

So there you have it. I am really boring, but I embrace and appreciate simplicity.
So now I "Bag Tag" Tif, Holly, and Aly. I know you are all more interesting than me.

Haley's Silent Friend, The Ostrich.

"The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing... not healing, not curing... that is a friend who cares."

7 Random Things I am Thinking Right Now

I adopted this tag from Kim because her's cracked me up so much. So here goes...

1. Will I ever beat JR in Chess? I've come close, but it's yet to be done. But, will he ever beat me in Scrabble? Wow...we are nerds.

2. Why do I make the bed every day, when it is just going to get un-made again every night? If JR read this he would say, "But, Honey, you don't make the bed." And I would say, "Oh yeah, you're right. But I do think about making it."

3. If we don't get a bigger place, we are going to be over taken by baby play things.

4. Why the heck isn't Spring here yet? I am sick of feeling stuck indoors.

5. How can I save several bags of Cadburry Mini Eggs after Easter is over and they are no longer in the store?

6. Are Cadburry Mini Eggs part of a complete breakfast?

7. If I had been born in 1965, I would have been in my 20's during the 80's. That would have been perfect because I have great, sexy 80's hair. My hair was born in the wrong generation.

I must tag some random thinkers...Natalie S., Lacie, Amanda A., Holly W., Kelly E.

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Haley loves going on walks with Daddy. She is so intrigued by the outdoors, dogs, other people, trees, etc. It is too fun to watch her discover the world outside. I just had to get a picture of them on their way out...what a cute moment.

Our Little Thai Princess

JR's parents just returned from Thailand and Japan and they brought us all wonderful gifts, including a beautiful Kimono for Haley.
Their gifts were so sweet and their pictures were amazing. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. JR and I can't wait until we can return to Asia. We spent an incredible month there together when I was pregnant with Haley and we for sure want to go back someday.
